BRIDGE CLUB
Altrincham
Bridge Club was formed in April 1995, when a few local players acted as a steering
committee to provide loans of whatever initial monies were required and to
liaise with Hale Conservative Club for a rental agreement to use their upstairs
hall.
The plans were so successful that a
meeting was held at the end of July 1995 to officially inaugurate the Club and
sign a five-year lease with Hale Conservative Club. At this point, we had
attracted no fewer than 120 players.
From the 1st March 2001 the clubs home venue became St
Peter's church hall in Hale.
The Club meets four times each
week. Monday –Tuesday – Wednesday and
Thursday evening at 19.30 – Duplicate sessions.
August 2009 we have 285 paid up members.
